Company
Established in 1988, Bugis Street Development spearheaded the development of Bugis Street.
Its vision is “To establish Bugis Street as an iconic, world renowned street shopping location in Singapore, providing a unique shopping experience and serving as a “must-visit” shopping spot for tourists.”
Directed by its experienced CEO and Founders, as well as a team of dedicated staff, Bugis Street has successfully evolved into an iconic street shopping location that continues to draw in the crowd.
Architecture
This architecturally adventurous design aims to revive street shopping to a new platform. High roofing structure allows natural skylight on to the street walk giving a bright and breezy atmosphere. Aggressive cooling & lighting systems were also developed setting a new benchmark to the street shopping experience.
Each stall fronts a common exterior but allowing free play of space for the interior to allow them to have their own unique retailing characteristics.

Armed with 800 unique concept stores offering a wide variety of quality trendy selections at competitive prices and local snacks and beverages and with the newest inclusion of Little Red Dot in 2010, a platform and place for budding entrepreneurs and local designers, Bugis Street is a very popular hot spot for tourists and locals alike.

Strategically positioned, Bugis Street stands in the heart that links the MRT, Bugis Junction, the famous Kwan Im Temple and the Malay Heritage Centre. Bugis Street is also within the Central Business District (CBD) area and just 10 minutes from Orchard Road.
